Network Information Technology Independent Innovation and Application Development Forum Held

The 2023 Research Report on China’s Information Technology Independent Innovation and Network Security Applications Development Released

On September 5th, the Network Information Technology Independent Innovation and Application Development Forum with the theme of “Independent Innovation and Security Development” was held at the Shijiazhuang (Zhengding) International Convention and Exhibition Center. The forum released the 2023 Research Report on China’s Information Technology Independent Innovation and Network Security Applications Development, which focuses on the current development of China’s information technology independent innovation and network security application, providing useful reference for promoting China’s information technology industry independent innovation and industry application expansion.

In recent years, China’s information technology industry has flourished, and information technology products and network security products have gradually shifted from being ‘usable’ to being ‘user-friendly’. Chen Chuanhong, the publisher of the Research Report and former director of the Major Special Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology, introduced that the Research Report, led by the Independent Innovation and Security Technology Working Committee of the China Electronic Chamber of Commerce, aims to explore the development trend of China’s information technology independent innovation, enhance the independent innovation capability of enterprises, sort out the difficulties and pain points of independent innovation in the information technology industry, and promote the high-quality development of China’s information technology industry.

The Research Report is divided into 15 chapters, focusing on the current development of information technology independent innovation in China, the development of network security applications in China, the current development status and problems faced by 12 information technology fields including artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things, and the characteristics of information technology independent innovation in finance, telecommunications, energy, education, healthcare, transportation, and other fields.

At the forum, well-known experts and scholars, including Shen Changxiang, academician of  Chinese Academy of Engineering, Jing Jiwu, dean of the Cryptography School of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Cai Youyi, general manager and technical leader of Beijing Shengtong Zhaohe Technology Co., Ltd., and representatives of typical domestic enterprises gathered together to provide suggestions for accelerating the independent innovation of China’s information technology, building a secure and credible new network ecology, and boosting the innovation of China’s information technology industry to enable the secure development of the digital economy.
